Jonathan Jay has a simple, yet very powerful and practical message. The book is easy to follow with highlighted tips/actions. Its ten chapters are full of practical and easy to understand information. No complex theory that is difficult to impliment. Instead you have ideas and actions that can be implimented quickly.

I managed to get my hands on a free copy of this book however would willingly have paid many times more than the cover price. Jonathan Jay is a great guy, and gives the reader exactly what they want in this book. A long time coming since his last book went to press. What is great about this book? When you read it you feel that he is sitting right there with you imparting all his skills, knowledge and expertise. The book is well written, bulleted, easy read and gets your attention, page after page. But it is something much more, ... the information contained in this book is real, it is practical, everyone with a business should get their hands on a copy, the only problem .. not wanting to put it back down. I have read this book, even though it is quite small, at least a dozen times and still get more and more from it.I treat this book almost as a workbook and sat down and worked through each session and looked for ways I could use it on the different aspects of my business. This book wont however be any good if you want a nice enjoyable read (which it is too) and then stick it on the shelf to gather dust. It is a book to be used.

I am a tradesman - I was a little dubious about how or whether this book would be of any help to me.I managed to wade through the first couple of dozen pages (very heavy going!), none of which had any real relevance to my circumstances. From the little that I have read, the main strategy for creating business is to badger potential customers until they give in and give you a chance to work for them. I loathe pushy salespeople, cold callers and spammers (I spend more time dealing with them than I do the rest of my business) and have got to the stage that I now tell cold callers to 'p*** off' as soon as I answer the phone and would not entertain employing any business that used such tactics. Worse still, I have a 'freephone' number for my customers - calls to which I have to pay for - thus, most of the cold calls I receive, end up costing me money!!This book is basically an advert for the services offered by the author. Hence, it is not going to give you the answers you need to build your business - if it did, why would you need the services of the author (who from the video footage I've seen of him seems a rather slimy, creepy, 'foot in the door' salesman type).I do not like being pressured into buying goods or services I do not want or need and would not do that to others - possibly that makes me a bad business person, but at least my conscience is clear!!
